I spent yesterday afternoon gluing on the two wing panels as the pictures below will show. Its beginning to look a lot like a J-3 Cub. This picture shows the scale dihedral in the wings. This picture shows the wing letter/numbers on the bottom the left wing. This picture shows the J-3 Cub from the rear view.
The next task will involve fitting, painting, and adding the wing struts. However, Sue and I are flying to Washington, D.C. in the morning to spend the weekend with my son Cy and his family and watch the Super Bowl. So the J-3 Cub project will be put on hold for several days.................Tandy |
