Andrew Tickle and Mike Sidwell

Speed 400 is now challenging the most popular Old Timer event -- 1/2 A Texaco which uses the Cox 0.049. This engine is a favorite of traditional old timers, even though it is the most noisy, messy and flatulent engine of its size. Speed 400 (using the same planes as 1/2 A Texaco) has now become the most popular class in SAM 27.

Winner of Speed 400 Best of Two:  1 Mike Clancy;  2 Dick Irwin;  3 Jay Beasley   (Scroll to bottom of page for complete results)

Winner of Speed 400 Mass Launch: Loren Kramer
