The rules are based on the emerging SAM Altitude Limited Old Timer rules.

The SAM rules require the use of the new 'Sky Limit' switch. Most SAM 27 flyers are using the older and simpler CAM switch. So this set of rules was made work with both. It also allow Speed 400 planes to reach altitude in 90 sec.

RULES

  1. Up to 90 sec motor run. 10 minute maximum. Best 4 of 5 flights are scored

  2. Altitude switch limit is 650 ft (200 meters).

  3. Motor may be restarted and throttled at will during the first 90 seconds. 60 sec restart penalty after that.
