This photo really contrasts the stubby wings (low aspect
ratio) of the originally free flight Old Timers -- with
the long slender wings of the RC gliders.
Note the contrast
between Aric
holding his very successful 1/2 A sized Viking --
against Chip wrestling with the 6-cell Rocketeer!

Now that the rules have stabilized, and everyone is used to
them, the meet proceeded quite briskly with no problems.
August 23 is the last of this series of four Limited Altitude meets.
